    The Military Mom Collective had the exciting opportunity to talk with Ashley Martin Cockrell. On August 30th, 2001 Ashley became the first female to score in a NCAA Division 1 American Football game at Jacksonville State University.

    As a mom now on the sidelines watching her children play, she says: “I don’t care if you are the fastest or the best, I care that they are respectful to their teammates and good people.”
