This recipe is a favorite of mine for fall potlucks specifically because of the pumpkin and cinnamon, but mostly because life is busy and I almost always have the 5 ingredients on hand for making it. Meaning it’s easy when I need a dish to bring last minute or if I forget and am then planning one last minute. Plus you can adjust the sugar or cinnamon to your liking if you want it sweeter. Please note you can use regular or dairy free cream cheese. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 can pumpkin purée
8 oz cream cheese (or dairy free cream cheese as shown)
3 Tbsp light brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Apples (sliced)
Directions:
1.Add the all ingredients (except apples) to a bowl and mix until smooth with a hand mixer. *Can use regular or light cream cheese instead of dairy free (I’ve used all three kinds in different batches and it turns out great with any).
2. Feel free to add another Tbsp of brown sugar if you want it sweeter. Serve with your favorite sliced apples and enjoy!
