Meet Taylor Whitson

Hello from Taylor Whitson – the new Military Mom Collective owner!

What an exciting opportunity to continue to build upon the hard work Rachel and Amie have cultivated here at The Military Mom Collective.

I have been lucky to have been a part of the “sisterhood” of City Mom Collective through a sister site – Auburn-Opelika Moms. My husband (active duty Marine) was on recruiting duty during our time in Auburn, and the community that was fostered through Auburn-Opelika Moms saved my sanity and allowed for a healthy outlet during a heavy season.

I am honored to now be leading a space like the above mentioned for other military families. The Military Mom Collective will continue to push on as a platform where women and military families feel encouraged, celebrated, and resourceful.

I welcome your continued support as we continue to grow together in community.

Learn more about Taylor below —

Taylor was born and raised in a small town near Chattanooga, Tennessee where she developed a love for photography and traveling at a young age. She attended college at Jacksonville State University where she earned a Bachelor’s of Art with a concentration in Photography. During her time at Jacksonville State University, Taylor was selected for the Disney College Program where she would work as a PhotoPass Photographer at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida.

During this time she met her eventual husband Casey, an active duty Marine serving in Jacksonville, North Carolina as an Aviation Ordnanceman. Taylor and Casey were married 18 months later and would continue on to be stationed in Beaufort South Carolina followed by Auburn Alabama where they would welcome their son Finley.

Now as a family of three they are enjoying the “four seasons” while stationed in Central Pennsylvania. On top of being a stay at home mom, Taylor works as a Magic Maker® with Off to Neverland Travel® planning unforgettable adventures for her clients.

When she is not chasing Finn, you can find her listening to [good] music, enjoying Asian cuisine, and dreaming of her next adventure.
