We are looking to expand our Military Mom Collective Executive Team!

Do you have a passion for supporting other moms and building community? Are you passionate about the military community? Our team is growing, and we are looking for an enthusiastic mom to join our team as Social Media + Content Manager! This is a flexible, part-time, work from home, paid position.

Role Description:

The Social Media + Content Manager role will be working approximately 5-10 hours per week. This job pays hourly plus bonuses for reaching social media goals. This person will work closely with our Executive Team to implement deliverables from our clients’ contracts as well as create content (like graphics, Reels, etc.) for our audience of military moms and families.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Has social media management experience and experience running social media campaigns
  • Stays current on social media trends by ongoing research and development; and adjusts accordingly
  • Schedules and publishes all appropriate social media posts
  • Interacts and responds to engagement
  • Assists in and coordinates with Graphic Designer to create graphics specific for social media posts (holidays, quotes, announcements, etc.)
  • Proactively posts trending or relevant current events
  • Interacts and builds rapport with relevant businesses, influential members of the community, and local media
  • Event Social Media Coverage
  • Manages strategic social media campaigns for events
  • Assists with varying needs on event page on Facebook
  • Familiar using all Instagram tools, including stories, reels, insights, filters
  • Familiar in all elements of Facebook post creation
  • An eager go-getter, isn’t afraid to make connections with external partners, and is prepared to be a face for our social media channels
  • Organized, driven, detail-oriented, assertive, and administratively gifted
  • Self-starter and can take a task and run with it
  • Is available to work 5-10 hours per week and will provide status updates on a weekly basis to MilMC owner
  • Shares timely and applicable posts from MilMC archives
  • Can attend monthly (virtual) Executive Team meetings
  • Is a collaborative and engaging team player with our Executive Team
  • Comfortable using the Canva program
  • Feels passionately about the mission and values of The Military Mom Collective
